Some good, some shit: surprisingly neither due to COVID.

Looks like I am going to get a bonus at work for going above and beyond, and I am meeting new musicians all over the planet via Zoom sessions.

Downside is that both my wife and my mother are facing long-term medical treatment. That doesn't suck as hard as it sounds, well most of the time anyway, so the glass is a bit more than half full.

As I say, more good than bad, and not as tough as the things some people have to face.

My wife is recovering well but slowly from a near fatal head injury: her speech, personality and mobility don't seem to be affected and her memory is starting to work again. Mum is out of hospital, but remains in long-term care. Prognoses for both remain positive.
