I know it doesn't help much but we've got to be patient. I'm sure there doing the best they can. This is a complex project that requires a mammoth amount of effort to produce. All we can do is wait and enjoy it when it becomes available. In my experience I add a few weeks or a month to any estimate on time of completion. This episode turned out to be much bigger they originally thought, I think the initial estimate was a Feb of 2018 release. Now there saying September. I'll be happy to see it before November. They can't rush and keep the high quality they are offering. Trust me, I'm sure it will be worth waiting for!

...and also note that, unlike many creators who take a monthly payment whether they have delivered anything that month or not, Wolf does not take a payment until each drop is made.

It's just that when we waited ages for Episode 7, we were told that this was due to how complex it was to insert the new routes etc.. and that further episodes would be developed much faster, now it seems as if it is taking ages again.

I'm not gonna be an entitled dick, screaming for it or getting angry, because like it has been pointed out, there are reasons, Wolfshadowe is doing this as a hobby, I, for one, am also not paying anything, not being a patreon and all, but it's still a bummer that development hasn't picked up after Ep. 7's release.

Not to worry it will be ready soon and you guys will all jump on it and play it to all the possible ends within 2 weeks and then we will all start the conversation about where is episode 9 why is it taking so long?
Seriously this has the same dangers as binge watching a series. What took very talented people six or seven years to create you can blow through in a long weekend. Then you almost go through withdrawals waiting for the next episode. You have to pace yourselves, your level of consumption should match the rate of creation. Don't blitz through the game once this ones released. Take your time, fully enjoy and savor each pass. I know it takes self control and today that's not our long suit. But put yourself in Wolf's position. After almost a year of pushing and hammering on this it's finally ready to release and in less then a month we starts to hear, so what's next. When's it going to be ready? Why so slow! That would drive me crazy if I were in that position.
We should be very grateful for the effort these folks put forward. This project is amazing in size and scope and yet it works pretty well. I understand it's hard to wait, I'm sure nothing we can say or do will make Wolf go any faster. It will be worth the wait trust me, I've got a good feeling about this!
