Looking for an update

Post by DSTORQUE » Mon May 02, 2016 7:36 pm

Haven't heard anything for a while about the progress on this game. The last update was in early February

Could we get an ETA on the next episode, or any sort of small update? It'd be appreciated.

In that linked thread, Wolfschadowe said "likely late May, possibly late April and slight possibility of late June." Since it is now May, it seems that "late April" is not an option. :D

Wolf has said he will provide a better idea of timing when he has a better handle on the work completion ratio. With crs sidetracked from doing the art renders (hopefully temporarily), Wolf has to do most of the renders himself and there are a LOT of them due to the multiple new characters and story lines being added this time. I think we are all hoping for May rather than June but we will just have to wait and see. I imagine Wolf with have something more to say on this when he has a chance to come up for air.

Do I need to download previous episodes, if I have the current one? I didn't know where to post the question, was looking around and figured this would be a decent topic for the question.

The Episode 6 download is inclusive of Episodes 1-6.

Whew, thank you. I'm still feeling around the game, I know that I must be missing a few things yet. :)

I've been a ghost for a bit. Figured I would jump on and ask if anyone has heard anything about the chances of July?

From the "work slowdown" thread:

viewtopic.php?f=9&t=288&start=75#p3604

Short version: I believe Wolf's current plan is for a late July release.

Currently looking at late July. The second to last scene is out to testers, and the main path through the last scene is fully rendered with writing in progress.

Also, I don't think I've ever mentioned this before, but updated release dates are always available on the Bugtracker Roadmap Page. You can find the release date under the blue bar. in some cases the details will be rolled up and clicking on the arrows on the right of the blue bar will expand details.

Translation release is when game text is sent to translators for localization.

Early Access release is when the game is available for online play to elite patrons.

General Release is when the game is available for download by the public, and sent to affiliate sites (i.e. playforceone)

Keep in mind, all dates are estimates, subject to change at any time
