A surprising number of people never read the instructions under the help menu.

P.S. That's a hint. Not a snide remark.

Hi everyone.

I`ve been playing BEW recently, just after E6 release.

Actually i`ve been playing online, because i can`t open the js file.

I don`t have the option "open with" or "edit" when i right-click it.

Any suggestions?

ps i have downloaded it several times.

Welcome to the forum.

You are in the wrong folder. The .js file is not the executable file. Don't try to do anything with it. The .js file is in the "Files" folder.

Move up one folder to the actual "BEW-S01E06" folder and find the "Start" file and open that with your browser. In most cases, it will open with a double click, starting in your default browser. For example, on my system, it automatically starts in Chrome. If that doesn't open it, try a right-click and select your browser.

Thank you JFR.

I have tried that one too. I have a "list" of "error loading" of all the files.

What operating system are you using? What browser? How did you unpack the downloaded archive?

There should be no errors in the unpacked file.

I am out of ideas. Hopefully Wolfschadowe or Kexter will see this soon and jump in.

Good luck. It is probably something simple that I am unqualified to figure out.

One other thing occurred to me. You never actually answered about what unzip/unrar program you used to unpack the files. You did unzip the original file, didn't you? You can't just pull files from the archive folder in Windows, they must be uncompressed and extracted.

If that isn't it, I'm back to nothing.

Thank you again. I really needed to save my achivements and my saves, so everything perfect.

OK, almost everything. I have a couple of Drunkard-s and Working Boy-s to complete.

And i have no clue where those two last Drunkards are, damn it. lol

Glad to hear you got it working.

Those achievements are among the toughest to find.

If all else fails, you might look at Deus ExLibris' excellent walk-throughs.
