I was starting my local running version today after not playing for a long time. It says there is a new version 1.6.5 available but clicking brings me to a dropbox link saying nothing's here??

Nevermind I found the patch file on the mirror site where it still is availabel.

The process is as follows.

1. Download and extract the full game from Locked file.
2. Download and extract the patch from Locked file.

Make sure to extract the patch to the same folder as the full game. Be sure to overwrite the original files, then start the game as normal using start.htm from the BEW folder.

The patch was primarily a technical update and foreign language addition. You might not notice anything different.

No, it is not the last for awhile. There will be a full new episode, adding several hundred new pages and images, sometime in the next few weeks. That will upgrade the game from 1.6.5 to 1.7.

Brad's Erotic Week is a constantly growing and expanding story and new episodes will be added 2 to 3 times per year after the upcoming one which has taken much longer. New episodes are expected to be released for several years. Don't worry about losing track. Each new episode will always include all the episodes that came before and will be fully compatible with game and achievement saves from earlier episodes. If you are new to the game, I suggest just playing it normally for now, saving progress as you go along the various story lines. When the new episode is released, there will be an announcement and you will be able to download it from this site. At that time, I'd suggest using the "Export" feature found in the "Options" menu to export your save-games and achievements. This would just be for insurance as the upgrade process should not damage those files, but better safe than sorry in case something unexpected happens.
