FYI, the "Export" commands save by default to your "Downloads" folder.

That depends on how your browser is configured. For example, I configure all my browsers to ask where to save files before downloading them.

Is there a limit to the number of saves allowed, or is it high enough to be practically infinite? There's only a hard limit on IE/Edge if you're playing locally. That's around 20-25, maybe fifty saves. There might be a soft limit around 1000 but I don't have Ep6's code at hand currently so I can't ...

Yep, it was a server-side issue. But just in case something similar surfaces again in the future, the latest patch (http://bew.rocks/bewep6patch) has a fix so that the game doesn't fail to load if online features are enabled and the server is down for some reason.

No, it shouldn't. And as far as I tell, your saves and achievements are there on the server and save-sync appears to be functioning.

Could it really be that the forum software is attempting to find the images in their original locations? Nope. When you upload a picture it gets stored on the server and is always served from there. More to the point, all images appear to show up fine for me, so I really don't know if the issue is ...

The game never disables the back button as that is considered bad etiquette. I'll look into a possible solution for this issue.
