Episode 8 Status (2018-07-08)

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the Episode 8 Status thread.

Episode 8 is currently estimated for release near the end of February. In Episode 8, we will catch up with Faith, who we haven't visited since Episode 1. The episode will continue the story from Brad arriving home after work, and then choosing to go to the Bar. We will follow Brad and Faith (if she's there) up to the point where Emily arrives for story paths where Emily is expected to arrive. On other story paths where Emily doesn't come, we will continue the date with Faith alone.

The estimated size of Episode 8 is approximately 275 pages which is the average for a 3 month release.

Well, you're in luck then. Episode 9 is scheduled to focus on Jasmine since we don't get much of her in EP7

Interesting enough, this announcement made me discover path that I have never seem before (getting date with Faith, without encountering Emily).

I never knew this path existed before (probably because there are no achievements of it, so it is not well documented). Pity it is a date in the club, so it will not be covered in ep8.

IIRC, there is one branch to this that has Brad go back to the Bar, but it's a while since i played those paths and my memory could be playing tricks.

No, you are correct. There is at least one.

Actually there`re are SEVERAL paths with Brad having a date with Faith alone or Faith&Emily (or just Emily) at the Bar. And for almost every Bar date there is a Club date alternative.

Funny enough, I'm having difficulties finding any of Brad + Faith, without Emily endings that go to bar. If both of them, most of the time there is choice.

Or are these paths just I'll come back to bar next day, without the formal date?

Small hint: The easiest way to find endings at the bar without Emily is to...

...make sure Emily never arrives at the bar in the first place, or arrives with a low level of relationship.

Bigger hint: Which can be done by...

...controlling the level of Emily's relationship on the first day at the office.

^That's exactly what I did, which leads to ending with Faith in club only (no bar option), or ending with no one (not enough reputation with Faith).
