Hi,
Just running BEW this evening, and the game tips up when selecting the menu. it is searching for a file at the following location:
http://update.bradseroticweek.rocks/bacon.js
Typing in the URL, it would appear to have been deleted. Is this because a new version is under test, or has the update subdomain been retired?
Fortunately, I have already reached the full set of achievements for the current version, otherwise, i might be a bit peeved.
Best,
Tao

Try typing in once as https:// and it should fix itself. You may also try clearing the browser cache and/or typing the following at a command prompt:
ipconfig /flushdns
What you are seeing is an artifact from the site's move from HTTP to HTTPS and for some reason your browser isn't redirecting properly.
NOTE: If you clear your cache, be sure to export your Achievements and Savegames first!

It's OK. The problem has cleared itself, and I have not lost my Achievements.
I have just loaded Chrome and it might have been to do with the machine stopping using FireFox as my default Browser. I recently changed my motherboard, but I can't see that affecting things.
Best,
Tao

No, it was a site issue. I was seeing the same error but today it is working correctly, with no changes on my part.Tao Dude wrote: ↑Wed May 10, 2017 5:04 pmIt's OK. The problem has cleared itself, and I have not lost my Achievements.

Yep, it was a server-side issue. But just in case something similar surfaces again in the future, the latest patch (http://bew.rocks/bewep6patch) has a fix so that the game doesn't fail to load if online features are enabled and the server is down for some reason.

Yes, thanks for that. I got a prompt that the patch was available when I logged on this evening.kexter wrote: ↑Thu May 11, 2017 6:36 amYep, it was a server-side issue.
