Update 6 not working?

For some reason when I tried to continue from my last save file, despite downloading and running BEW EP 6 it still seems to be EP 5 because I couldn't advance at all from my last save file.

Is there something that I'm doing wrong with opening the EP 6 file?

Probably not. Episode 6 is very limited, with only a few paths forward from the last episode. It is possible you are just trying to advance along paths that have still not been extended. When you first start the game, on the main menu screen, the info in the lower right corner of the screen should say "Version 1.6.4". If you see that, you have the latest version.

There are really only 3 new scenes in this episode.
[spoiler]First is the continuation of Brad and Emily's decison at the office on Thursday afternoon to go out to dinner and a movie. If you continue that path, you will go to Brad's apartment, change clothes and then go to pick up Emily at her apartment where there are several possible paths and decisions to make.

The second is after you arrange with Azumi at the strip club to call her to discuss cooperating in getting Natalie into a 3-way with the two of you. That is on the "Natalie Corruption" path. If you follow that path, when you go home after work on Thursday, you can call Azumi. If you choose to meet up with her, the scene continues at the college campus where you meet her, again with multiple choices.

The 3rd path is to follow on after Brad was thrown out of the strip club when he and Natalie were caught fooling around by the bouncer, Ben. If you follow that path, Natalie will call you at home after work on Thursday and you can have a couple of different conversations with her and save games for a later date in one of multiple locations.[/spoiler]

Any other saves/paths you might try from the previous episode will still not continue the game as that content is still not done.

The question is, what is your last save?

None of the episodes advance all possible story lines. Episode 6 only advances Emily being asked out on a dinner and movie date, and meeting Azumi before you go to the strip club when on the Natalie Corruption path. If your last save does not involve either of those, then...

The question is, what is your last save?

None of the episodes advance all possible story lines. Episode 6 only advances Emily being asked out on a dinner and movie date, and meeting Azumi before you go to the strip club when on the Natalie Corruption path. If your last save does not involve either of those, then...

Ohh I see now ok yea because I was on the path for Natalie, but not corruption. That makes sense now thanks.

Look, I am not sure if you are aware of this, but consider the following...


The game is scheduled to last seven consecutive days.
Currently we are in the second day with the evening portion to do in order to finish the day. Essentially, we have not completed the the last scene of Act 1.
We have yet to be introduced to all the principal characters.
We know that there is an Elite and Corruption path for Emily and Natalie. While it has been hinted at, there is currently no evidence of Elite and Corruption paths for any other possible love interests.
This game does not lend itself to min-maxing, in that what appears to be a conversation path that will net the highest points with one of the ladies may actually cost you points at a later time.

What I mean by that, is that a course of action that gives you the maximum possible points with Emily (or any of the other ladies), now; does not necessarily mean you are on the proper path to maximum possible points at the end of the game. Sometimes you need to take a conversation path or perform an action that does not gain points or even costs points to gain access to events later that will grant even more. What appears to be a failure path presently, could actually be the Elite path. Then again it could be just what it appears to be and will lead to Brad getting tits tattooed on his back and thrown into a cell with Big Earl. We simply don't know at this stage of the game.

Every love interest, at minimum has an Easy storypath, a Main storypath, an Elite storypath, and a corruption storypath, in order of difficulty.

Each storypath has it's own Min-Max. For example, at the end of the Wednesday Bar, Relationship levels per storypath with Emily are:
Emily Main - Min 27, Max 36
Emily Elite - Min 33, Max 40
Emily Corruption - Min 38, Max 40

Then again it could be just what it appears to be and will lead to Brad getting tits tattooed on his back and thrown into a cell with Big Earl.

I am still having trouble visualizing what a Faith or Azumi corruption path might look like. Both of those ladies are already fairly uninhibited and are far more likely to lead Brad down his corruption path than he leading them down theirs.

Best I can figure it would involve five circus clowns, three goats and a wheel of cheese.

I guess I will just have to wait and see.

Well, according to Wolf, corruption paths lead to endings in which the woman learns something about herself, her own emotions and desires, that she didn't know (or didn't want to admit) before. So maybe for the uninhibited ones "corruption" means becoming a happy and faithful housewife or something like that

That just means you do not have the required preconditions to continue that path.

[spoiler]Once you are on the "Natalie Corruption" path, you still must make the right decisions and conversation choices to get Azumi to go along with the 3-way. You may be missing a point or two in either Natalie or Azumi's relationship score.

Sounds like you have gotten part-way there if Azumi gave you her number. Perhaps you have missed a point or two during breakfast with Nat. Try various alternatives, keeping track of scores. You will find it.[/spoiler]

Yeah thanks wolf thing is it worked fine on the play I just did possibly I got my game versions mixed up I have so many saves and achievements so it was me not the game I think as I completed all the achievements thanks for quick reply as uusual
