Don't rush, brother. Your game is worth waiting for. Your family needs you. Anyone who gets angry over it can just get over it. Your wife needs you, and it is your responsibility as her husband to be there for her. True, I'm chomping at the bit as well for the next episode, but I can wait. My sympathies to you and yours. Happy New Year.

Re: BEW Work Slowdown and Episode 7 Delay
I want to than everyone for your kind words of support and patience. We made it through a draining holiday season this year, and I must say that I'm happy to see 2016 go away. Life seems to be returning to normal (for now) and that includes work on BEW. I've started ramping back up and should be up to speed in the next week or so. Also, finally getting organized with the new help and hopefully that will speed things up as well.
I'm not going to commit yet to a release date for Episode 7. This episode is turning out to be significantly bigger than I first anticipated. It's taking more to tell the story than I originally storyboarded. The final size of Episode 7 is not quite determined yet, but it will be about the size of some smaller full games. Somewhere in the 500-600+ page range.
Once again, I really appreciate everyone's patience and support!

Don't worry. Have a good time, that's more important than a game.

Is it possible to get a ballpark time frame? Nothing specific or concrete, but something like: end of January or early March?Wolfschadowe wrote:I'm not going to commit yet to a release date for Episode 7.
If not, I(we) understand, and like Crane said:

It's started, but sputtering a bit. I haven't even had time to get work to the kind and very patient people helping me out, other than brief bursts here and there. Looks like it should lighten up for me by the end of the week though and finally I'll be able to get back into the groove.Crane wrote:Happy to hear the engine has started.

There are 5 scenes affected in the release. 4 are existing with added content. 1 is a new scene.
1. Wednesday Strip Club: Adds ~110 pages.
2. Wednesday Taxi (new): ~120 pages
3. Wednesday Home: Adds ~180 pages (Not including additions to the recap)
4. Thursday Office: Adds ~90 pages
5. Thursday afternoon Home: Adds ~20 pages
Re: BEW Work Slowdown and Episode 7 Delay
This is very intriguing. 180 pages just staying home? Excluding "watching porn and onanism", maybe Brad watching the soccer game that`s on the TV screen? Perhaps we`ll need a joystick?Wolfschadowe wrote: 3. Wednesday Home: Adds ~180 pages (Not including additions to the recap)
And i like your "before summer" schedule. It was very accurate geographically, but you`re enough prudent not to precise the year
p.s. Just teasing of course.

Soooooo, you plan on showing us why taxi backseat floorboards are so... sticky?Wolfschadowe wrote:

Hopefully, the cabbie is professional enough to keep his/her eyes on the road. Otherwise, Brad could spend the rest of his erotic week in traction.

I guess Brad may need some nursery on Wednesday night after certain events at the stripclub. Just sayingCrane wrote:This is very intriguing. 180 pages just staying home? Re: BEW Work Slowdown and Episode 7 Delay
Remember, there are a couple of points Wednesday evening where Brad suggests to more than one person that something might be better at his place. He usually gets shut down but in a couple of cases there is the frustrating "To be continued in a future episode" tag. There is also a point where he suffers what seems to be a catastrophic failure but that same tag makes an appearance.Crane wrote:This is very intriguing. 180 pages just staying home? ...Wolfschadowe wrote: 3. Speculate away!
