excuse me. i download the 1.7.5 patch but when i play, it said 1.7.4. is this correct or i download the wrong patch?

Did you actually unzip the patch into the game folder? The patch is just a few files that must be added to the existing game.

Again, to install the patch, copy the zip file of the patch which you downloaded into your game folder - where you see the "Start" file. Then extract (unzip) the patch file. Usually, that is accomplished by right-clicking on the file and selecting "Extract All." If you have a third-party unzip utility, you can use that. When the file begins to unzip, it will ask if it should overwrite files. Select "Yes" and the rest should occur automatically. The next time you start the game, it should show 1.7.5.

What operating system are you using? Have you been able to play the game in version 1.7.4? What file name is the patch file you downloaded? How are you unzipping it?

I just tried it and it all worked correctly so it seems to be correct. I suspect the problem will be something simple in the update process.

Just to be sure, you should be using the S01E7 Patch file found in the BEW Vault. It is 1.68 mb in size.

As an alternative to the preferred installation method above, you could copy the patch zip file to an empty folder and unzip it there. Then Right-click/Copy the resulting "files" folder and paste it into your BEW game folder. Make sure it is the folder that already has a "files" folder. When you paste it there, you will be asked if you want to overwrite files. Reply "Yes to All" and let it finish. That should take care of it. After that, when you start the game, it should show Ver. 1.7.5.

All of this assumes you are playing the game from your computer's hard disk drive and not one of the on-line game hosting services.

another question. why is it that when enable online, it said new episode released,download using the link they give, cannot be extracted? but when download using the link you give, the vault, in this forum, only that working to be download and extract.

Sounds like a possible bug related to relatively recent server changes. I'll look into it.

A bit of both, actually. The developer is working on a complete revamp of the game. Translation into a new game engine, redesign of the character and other images, everything. The story will be the same but everything else will be brand new.

That being said, it has been a period of years since the last game update, in the old form. He comes on here or the Discord channel occasionally to show examples of the new artwork or make reports on progress but it will be some time yet before we have the new game to play. Wolfschadowe stopped taking Patreon payments for the time being, so it isn't costing patrons anything.
