Episode 7 start - hints and suggestions

In anticipation of the long-awaited release of Episode 1.7, I thought I'd make a few hints and suggestions to help out folks who might have trouble finding the new material. It is not meant to include spoilers but I might give a few things away so am hiding it in "Spoiler Tags" for those who wish to discover the new stuff completely on their own.

In response to a few questions that arose during Early Access play, please note that the new content does not resolve all of the "Continued in a Future Episode" endings from previous episodes. There are only a few entry points to the new scenes in this release. Remember that this is the "inclusion episode" that explores the new romantic characters. The new stuff is all about that. Recall that the potential romantic characters before this episode were Emily, Faith, Natalie and Serenthia. There will be up to four more but this episode only changes two existing characters from non-romanceable to romanceable. Others will have to wait for future episodes.

Think about the points where you first met the characters who weren't "romance-able" before this episode but will be as we go forward. Try the initial conversations where you meet those characters. There are multiple ways to get into them, along multiple paths. You can't easily get all the new material from one start point or pathway. Some will be on "standard" or "elite" paths and others might be on "corruption" paths.
In addition to several major, completely new scenes, there are several additions to existing scenes in the story that follow naturally from the new information you have learned about the inclusion characters. Think about other plot areas that could change - a little or a lot - due to what you now know about these characters.

Is there any way for us to know exactly what the new scenes are and how to get to them?
I really want to see them all, but at the moment, I have no time to search for them :/

Well, I thought I gave some pretty good hints but I guess a little more specificity won't hurt.

I've had a number of requests for short-cuts. BEW is not designed to be played quickly or easily and finding "the good parts" while avoiding the story is just not realistic with the complexity of the game. We can help with hints but a road map to all the new scenes would be very difficult and not really fair to everyone else who are enjoying the discovery involved in the story. For those reasons, I will not be giving a walk-through here. Other members have been working on something like that and might make their work available some time.

The major new scenes start at the Strip Club Wednesday night when Brad first meets Azumi at the couch. I'd recommend taking her up on the private dance. From there, you'll find a medium long scene in the back room. There are several mini-scenes here and you will only see them one at a time as you try different things. If you handle those well, you can proceed to a very tricky scene in a taxi after leaving the club. Again, handle that well and you have the biggest, most cross-pathed scene at Brad's apartment. This has many paths to follow so will require several play-throughs. Don't assume that the most immediately satisfying paths are necessarily the "best."

The other main new scene is Thursday morning when Brad first meets up with Jasmine. Follow your instincts here. The new stuff is added onto what you have already done with Jasmine in the previous episode. You have more options and actions available.

There are several smaller new scenes scattered about in the game but you'll have to find them. They all involve the two new romance characters, Azumi and Jasmine.

I agree that this is a game that should be played slowly, but I have already done that and discovered all it's content before the new patch, so I just needed some guidance to where the new content is because I have no time to test all of the possible paths at the moment :/

On to the subject: How far can you go on the taxi scene? And I really need some help here trying to go for the best result.

Azumi and Natalie played a little bit with Brad's thing, but that was it. I feel there's more to the scene, though. Am I right? If so, how do I pull it off?

There are about 10 different paths through that scene. Some depend on things you did in the Private Dance scene, the state of your clothing when you left the club, what conversation choices you made in the taxi and what actions you took. These are important because what comes later at Brad's apartment depends on how you finish the Taxi scene. The taxi scene is very complicated and will take a lot of tries to see everything.

You might try thinking about which of the girls you are trying to impress. If you pay too much attention to one, you might lose the interest of the other. Although scores are not really too important, if you watch the scores as you make choices, you might get an idea of how those choices affect each girl.

I agree that the taxi scene is very complex, but also the one following it, given it is closely depending on a lot of previous things as JFR mentioned, but if you put the effort and time in, it is well worth it.
Another tip I would give is to investigate how the new Jasmine content may impact Emily's corruption path; you could find something fun in there...

For some reasons I don't know, i'm on the last episode, and I cant get past the point going to the strip club on wednesday evening after metting with azumi before the date with Nathalie. Where exactly is the taxi scene everyone is talking about ?

I'm making a guess, but it sounds like you are talking about meeting Azumi on Campus, which is Thursday night (Day 2) the new content is Wednesday night (Day 1)
